Trachycarpus fortunei – Chinese Windmill Palm
Native in Asia and has been cultivated throughout China and Japan for thousands of years the Chinese Windmill Palm has a slender trunk covered in dark brown fibre. Slow growing up to 8 metres height it is cold tolerant and can handle temperatures down to -10 degrees celcius. Preferring full sun/part shade and a free draining soil, it is a very easy palm to grow.
