METAL RINGS – SHAPES – EDGING
Palm Life regularly make a range of ring sizes from 3mm corten. If required, we can make your orders from a thicker corten, but 3mm is generally what is used for garden rings.
Not only a modern garden trend, these rings/shapes, add instant height to the plants placed in them. If you do not have the money to purchase a tall tree or the patience to wait for a tree to obtain some height, your other option is to purchase a smaller tree and a metal ring to instantly raise the height of your tree. Always make sure you place your plant/tree in a ring large enough for future growth.
Another advantage to metal rings is they give the appearance of a potted plant but in reality they allow the roots of the plant/s to grow into the ground and therefore enable to plant/s to grow to their full capacity. With roots eventually growing below ground level, this enables the plant/s to survive the hot dry Summer months a lot better than in a pot.
This succulent/cacti collection planted in a group of rings at Palm Life as pictured below on the left hand side, has only been growing for a couple of months and in that short time it now looks like it has been there for 12 months. For those of you in small house/units these days, who do not have the space, something like this would fill your space and give the impression of a mature plant collection within a couple of months.
